Too many ideas!

Ack! I am having a problem getting motivated to make new things. It is not a lack of ideas, it is the opposite. I have too many ideas! I keep thinking of things I could make, and I have so many works-in-progress. I just don't know where to begin. I am really in the middle of at least 10 projects. Some are for Etsy, some are for me, and some are for gifts.

Anyone else have this problem? What do you do? Right now, I just work on whatever strikes my fancy at the moment. However, I think I need a to-do list or something. Any advice?

I certainly do have this problem!

Use to-do lists, but put the things you can finish first to last.
If all you have to do is punch them out? Group them together and do them first then move on to inking.

Not only will this give you lots of time to spend on the more time consuming items, but you'll get lots of easy items done and listed!

It's only when you can't stop thinking about a particular idea would I recommend putting it first!

You're welcome! This is how I function in life: I would get nothing done otherwise.

I have the same problem: a lot of ideas, a lot of projects, and so little spare time for them. But, don't you think that having lots of ideas is much better than having a lot of free time with nothing interesting to do? =) Now you can choose from the list and do what you feel like doing =)
These ideas makes me pleased =)

A to-do list is great. Especially if you have it in the correct order (plan the date you want finish something: for example there should be a certain date till which you should complete a gift) and always by the hand.
And you get to your projects try to avoid mixing them: because when you're working with one project and if you see the part of another one your thoughts get mixed and you feel like you want to do them both at the same time, and that leads to postponing the finishing line of both of them.
Anyway good luck =)
