We have not had school since last Monday!  I have never seen this much snow in my life.  The good thing about it is that I have had time to make more items for my shop, and to get involved in some of my online stuff again.  I am going to try to keep this journal updated more often.

I am really trying to expand my presence on the web. I have had a shop on Artfire for awhile, but never had a paid account. Now, they have a deal that is too good to pass up. It is $5.95 per month forever. No other fees. I am so excited about this!

Anyone who makes crafts or sells vintage should really look into this.  I have never seen a deal this great.  Click here to read about it.  What do you think?

Too many ideas!

Ack! I am having a problem getting motivated to make new things. It is not a lack of ideas, it is the opposite. I have too many ideas! I keep thinking of things I could make, and I have so many works-in-progress. I just don't know where to begin. I am really in the middle of at least 10 projects. Some are for Etsy, some are for me, and some are for gifts.

Anyone else have this problem? What do you do? Right now, I just work on whatever strikes my fancy at the moment. However, I think I need a to-do list or something. Any advice?

Everyone says it is hard to get a treasury, but I tried it today and just got one:  http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list.php?room_id=66718

It is stuff with skeletons on it.  I love skeletons.  Weird?  Yeah.

I wasn't really expecting to be able to make one, so I had only picked out some cool items.  Next time, I will think about making it look nicer and having things that go together a little better.

"Be the change you want to see in the world"--Mahatma Ghandi

This quote from Ghandi inspires us to realize that we have the power to change the world. Instead of complaining about all of the problems in the world, we can all do something about them--even if it is something small. This philosophy inspired me to become a teacher!

You will receive 18 tags with this inspirational quote. 6 each of three different colors:

Green with dark brown ink
Blue with black ink
Black with silver ink

All tags are hand punched, stamped, and inked. Therefore, there are slight variations. If you would like holes punched in them, just let me know and I will gladly do so.

These can be used as gift tags, scrapbook/collage/altered art embellishments, decorations for greeting cards, or simply as little note cards to give someone a little bit of inspiration when they need it. Reverse side is blank for your own personal note.

The cards measure 1.5 by 2.75 inches and are made from quality card stock.

Imagine Journal

A lovely little place to write down everything you can imagine--your dreams, your thoughts, your hopes--whatever comes to mind. The pages are unlined, so you can add sketches or use it as a scrapbook. This would make a perfect gift for an aspiring John Lennon, Emily Dickinson, Picasso, or DaVinci--anyone who imagines and inspires!

It is a plain white journal with blank white pages. I have painted the spine and covers black, covered them with beautiful poppy paper, and added a few embellishments. I have also included a little matching bookmark that says, "Imagination is more important than knowledge. For while knowledge defines all we currently know and understand, imagination leads us to all we might yet discover and create."

The book when is approximately 8.25 inches long and 6.25 inches wide. The pages are 8 inches long and 6 inches wide. 28 pages (14 sheets).
